imood.com is really cool, its been around since 1999 and seems to be quietly going from strength to strength. You can find friends, invite those that haven't already registered, create a buddy list and it shows of your last 5 moods and a full history being readily available also... at the moment I'm currently feeling dorky but my history reports that I'm mostly feeling blonde.. which I am. The full history is kind of cool though, I looked back over mine and it jogged a whole heap of old age memories.. especially the time i was feeling "demented" and it seems I first started publically reporting my blondeness on Dec 29, 2001 at 05:44 am, I was ducky on Jun 26, 2004 at 1:37 pm and zesty on Jul 09 2003, Feb 20 2003, Dec 09 2002 and lastly on Oct 16 2002 on and on it goes giving me a full history of all my mood swings since day one :)

Getting an imood indicator for your homepage/website, blog, emails, forum signature files etc is a must do and the code is provided once you've set your mood so aftering doing that (logging into imood.com) just trot along to mood indicators and pick it up. You can colour co-ordinate your mood indicator fit your site by specifying background and foreground hex colour codes which is really handy as once you have your basic setup and code you can then edit the values as you please without having to log back in if you don't wish to....
fg=FFFFFF/bg=52007/imood.gif" alt="The current mood of ibreak4u at www.imood.com" />
simply edit...
fg=#FFFFF (foreground)
bg=#52007 (background)
now if you're a little lost when it comes to your hex colour codes don't panic just google search hexadecimal color chart or if you want a download check out ColorCop.
The imood browser updater doesn't work with Avant (does with IE though) but if you want to have a "close enough" version of it available in Avant you can just add the url, stripping it out from the java, to your favourites/bookmarks or to your Links bar for easy access. This isn't ideal as you end up with a full sized window opposed to the compact 250x450 popup you get from the updater but it does the trick and works exactly the same way.
updater code...
javascript:void(open('http://my.imood.com/updater.cgi ','imood_updater','resizable,scrollbars,width=250,height=450'))
instead just bookmark the url from the updater...
http://my.imood.com/updater.cgi
or use the redirect to...
http://www2.imood.com/updater.cgi?
Mac users don't despair, you too can have an imood updater, SDF1 Networks has one which is available from SourceForge at Imood updater or you can read about it from Apples download site Email & Chat - Imood Updater.
