To-Do List Chaos

I'm easily distracted at the best of times and as such more easily disorganised, the last few months for me have been a complete nightmare with regard to making some head way through a pile of post-it notes, to-do's, must-do's, just-shutup and do's and my (surprising well organised) notes that I have stored and categorised in TexNotes, now TexNotes is very cool and worthy of a huge ^5 for being what it is but I needed something little more structured for my to-do's and by-when's so I've spent the last few days on and off looking for a to-do list program that is easy to use, affordable and was compatible with my brain be it a high or low brain function day...

I hit the usual freeware and shareware sites looking for some downloads to spin round the block, there are some pretty cool ones out there and some of them are extremely complicated, some extremely basic and some... well what can I say... some are just plain odd. Most come with a calendar function which is ideal for to-do challenged ppl but I use and love iCal (Mac) for my day to day, in fact month by month happenings so the calendar features weren't high on my must have list, what was high up though was being able to list and categorise them by priority and the flexibilty to retain completed to-do's without having to delete them which most of the programs I found seemed to do... fair enough I guess cause once it's done it done but me being me I wanted to retain them... this caused a bit of a challenge.

I ended up downloading 7 programs all ranging in regard to features, price and flexibility and all for Windows... and I managed to confuse myself stupid many times over, next time I will limit my testing pool to just 3-4.. doh me *blush* Today I'm down to my last program VIP Simple To Do List which is put out by VIP Quality Software. I have high hopes for this one being a keeper bcause I really love it and it suits me and my quirks perfectly including the ability to retain completed tasks which can be screened out or in by the use of filters, its reasonably priced at US$29.95... if you're drowning in chaos and in need of a to-do list organiser, then its well worth checking out VIP Simple To Do List
