A Clean Boot is handy tool to have when you're trying to troubleshoot error messages,
problems, glitches or seemingly possessed computers as it disables startup programs,
setting, drivers etc allowing you have a poke around and see what's going on.
You'll loose some of the functions during this process but when you restart your
computer under Normal Startup all the options will of course be reinstated as
with your original settings. If the error/problem you're trying to track down
doesn't happen in Clean Boot state then one by one enable the settings under Selective
Startup (via msconfig, General tab) with a reboot in between.
