Hello..
this is a little trick for windows fonts... I am a person that is
literally addicted to fonts. I cant get enough of them.... there
has been a couple of times that I have had too many fonts installed
on my system... sooooo many of them that I actually found out that
there is an error message for it.. lol
[me tooo!!! - Bee ;)]
For this trick...
you create another folder called something along the lines of
"More Fonts" basically anywhere on the computer...
(on your c drive, in your my documents folder... where ever... It
really makes no differece!) When you download any new fonts... instead
of installing them into the c:/windows/fonts directory... you just
download them into this new folder.
When you want to use one of these new fonts in this "more fonts"
folder...
BEFORE you open the
program you want to use... (like Microsoft Word) just open the folder
and double click on the font(s) file(s) themselves (to open them)
and then minimize it to the taskbar and leave it open. (Minimizing
the font file to the taskbar will "trick or "fool"
the computer into thinking that the font is installed in the fonts
folder.)
Once the font file is minimized, open the program that you intend
to use... and the fonts (that you minimized) will be in the list
with all the fonts that are in the windows/fonts directory.

It is an awesome trick... and it does work I have tried it several
times.... Have fun!!!
