it pays to smile...

...at least once a day... thankfully my days are full of them and not just i mean full blown In fact I'm really lucky, at least I consider myself to be as more often than not my days are also full of laughter... the fair majority of which is generated because I work with Andy who never ceases to amuse me

They say laughter is the best medicine ... which might in fact be the case... they also say it's great excercise,.. well la de da as if that matters to me ... and they also say you get more wrinkles from frowning than laughing... another la de dah as it's far too late in my life to be worried about that... they made an entrance loooong ago, about the time I started working with Andy but back to what's made me laugh this past week...

Andy and I have had a couple of really busy (intense!) weeks, we have our plates full at the moment and when you throw into that mix our series of Yahoo! Messenger Skins articles over at WackyB.co.nz it's really been.. well, just completely insane While throwing together our articles we also made some Yahoo! Messenger skins and it was during that time, that I headed over to one of my all time favourite smiley gurus Mike Perrucci who lives over at Mazeguy.net. You may think you don't know or are familiar with Mike's work... but if you are reading this post then you already are... in fact the fair majority of my postings at here at bee.geek.nz are littered with Mike's work.. including all the smileys you can see above. Out of all of Mike's work ---> is by far my all time favourite but he loads of other smileys that I'm awfully fond of

Anyways, there I was borrowing inspiration (and smileys) from Mike for my first ever Yahoo! Messenger skin "Gone Fishing" which I am incredibly proud of... simply because I started.. and finished it ... and it works... and I think Mike's work (the smiley graphics) really make it something quite different... and just before I left Mazeguy.net I hit his Links section, and it was there that I first stumbled across Smellies...

and with my being one who likes the less than ordinary I didn't need any more encouragement to head over to and check them out... and I'm so pleased I did.. I don't remember the last time something so wee made me laugh sooooo much featured below are just a few from their hilarious collection....

Andy made me a Cow Skin for Yahoo! Messenger and it just cracks me up.. it's not subtle nor small... it's pefectly oh so me ...

I do wonder if he.. Andy not the cow ...is trying to tell me something though
