This year I've been trying to spend as much time as possible and practical at new places, checking out new things, peeking outside the box, all in an effort to expand my greatly deflated mind... and I'm loving every minute of it :)
One of my new haunting grounds is Momentile.com
"A momentile consists of a single image, defined only by the date it was published. That's it. Void of explanation and free from context, a momentile is pure visual communication. There's something special about observing an interesting moment from a complete stranger, without any message other than the one you interpret yourself. This is, at its very core, the reason we created momentile. To interact with others by observing the interesting, obscure, and mundane moments of everyday life." from Momentile: Our Manifesto
I was loitering around there the other day when Jasmeet posted this great photo

which set me off down the path of bulb photography and Light Painting (Wikipedia: Light painting) which I can wait to play with properly, but while poking around the topic I stumbled across these amazing examples by rafoto of what can be achieved...
