smileys in email....
People who use
Yahoo Messsenger
and
MSN Messsenger are
familiar with the smileys

and
emoticons

(respectively)
that are used in the messenger programs but perhaps what some of you didn't know
is that both
Yahoo Mail and
MSN/Hotmail also have a feature
which allows you to insert them into their free web based emails.. pretty cool
if you're a smiley nut and like the ones that are supported so we've whipped up
a couple of step by step tutorials on exactly how to do this.
Now Smileys come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from...
small animated...

to static..

to large animated...

all of which (IMHO) are drop dead cute and very versitile so for those of you
who don't have/like Yahoo, MSN/Hotmail web based emails so we've also whipped
up a few examples on inserting whatever smiley you please into Outlook Express.
I have to admit this option is my own personal favourite as the possibilities
are endless... creativity rules ;-) So if your an OE user then this
Outlook
Express Smileys is the section your after and to help you on your smiley way
we've added a page
Smiley
Links for sites that have freeware/linkware/public domain smileys... please,
please check the sites concerned for their terms of use.. they are not 'snatch
and grab' sites so please respect the time, work and effort that they have put
into their sites :-)
