Using Xteq Systems X-Stepup
Now we all know about TweakUI's [quirks] and I myself have managed to acquire a rather unusual one that appears to be particularly fond of my computer (meaning very few others have suffered the same problem!) what is it you ask? Clear Find Files... it just doesn't do it! Now I'm not too fussed about this as personally I run the majority of my tweaks through [Xteq Systems X-Stepup] which leads me to the following....
Open Xteq X-Setup
Expand Appearance
Expand Start Menu
Expand Clear
Select Clear Items
Hit Clear Run Commands
Clear Found Files
Clear Found Computers
Clear Recent Documents
or
Select Clear Items (W2K/WME)
Hit Clear Text Search
Clear Found Files
or
Select Clear Items on Logoff
Check Clear Items on Logoff

while your in Xteq X-Setup

Expand Internet Explorer
Expand Other
Select Clear Items
Hit Clear Typed URL's
